Midway through the summer, and getting ready to head back out with Boz Scaggs for the second leg of the tour. Boz, this band and crew are so incredible, I have to regularly pinch myself! For details, keep an eye on the Performances page, or go to the Boz site for details.
In other news, my longtime coconspirator Dred Scott has a new record out that I am honored to play on. The Pacific Jazz Group is an homage to the west coast jazz sound of the 50s and 60s, though I think a few liberties were taken along the way! Featuring Dred Scott on piano, John Wiitala on bass, Smith Dobson on drums, and yours truly on tenor, it's been getting some nice reviews and airplay.
